What are Boval Engineering's capabilities?

Boval Engineering offer a comprehensive range of products as well as a wide variety of services to their customers. They work with sheetmetal customers from initial inquiry to final product delivery, and everything  in between.

Boval Engineering employ over 40 staff at any one time. Boval Engineering aim to employ the best people to ensure all workmanship at the factory is to the highest standards and meet customers requirements. These staff are of diverse backgrounds and have varied skills and experience.

What is the lead time on deliveries?

Boval Engineering pride themselves on being flexible with lead times/delivery, they will aim to work with customers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within project time frames.

 

Lead time is very dependent on the project specifications. Boval Engineering pride themselves on being flexible with lead times and sheetmetal delivery, they will aim to work with customers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within project time frames.

 

Repeat orders or single operation jobs lead time are usually minimal due to the nature of the job requirements (such as laser cutting or powder coating).

Is Boval Engineering accredited?

Boval Engineering first gained their quality assurance accreditation to ISO 9001 in 1994.

 

The accreditation indicates that Boval Engineering is accredited by the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand in respect to those activities covered by the accreditation Certificate numbers S1351093AS, 01930999AS and E2231100AS.

 

Boval Engineering’s accreditation is audited yearly and re-certified every 3 years to ensure Boval Engineering is still in compliance with the terms and conditions of the agreement with Benchmark Certification.

 

Welding

Boval Engineering have qualified welders in accordance with AS-2980 to perform welding in accordance with AS-1554.1 and AS-1665.

 

Powder Coating

The Boval Engineering Powder Coating facility (operating under AMPC trading name) meets Australian standards. A variety of powder coating suppliers are used and Boval Engineering is also an approved Dulux applicator.

 

What are Boval Engineering's normal working hours?

Boval Engineering’s normal office hours are:

 

Monday – Friday

7am – 5pm

 

Weekend shifts are also possible when project load requires.

 

Do Boval Engineering work a double shift?

Boval Engineering have the capacity to run a double or triple shift if certain projects require this. Boval Engineering have often carried out a double or third shift, so are well prepared and experienced in doing this.

What is the powder coating capacity?

Boval Engineering powder coating facility (trading as AMPC) can powder coat products on the conveyorised line up to 770mm wide, 1600mm high and 2700mm long. The plant is ideal for both short and long runs.

 

In addition, AMPC have a batch plant with capacity up to 1700mm wide, 2700mm high and 3200mm long.

What is the sand blasting capacity?

Boval Engineering’s Sand Blasting machine is 1.8m wide x 1.9m height x 3m depth.
