Company Profile
History
Bob Burridge started his own business, Robert Burridge Toolmaker, in 1959 in Leichardt. As the business grew, space became an issue so Bob firstly moved to Smithfield and eventually to 6 Coombes Drive Penrith in 1973. Then in 1983 Bob and his wife Val started Boval Engineering. In 1986 Bob and Val decided to retire and sold Boval to the current owner Peter McGovern. As the business continued to grow Boval moved to larger premises at number 13 Coombes Drive where it is located today. Even though Bob has been retired for a number of years he still has an active interest in the company and provides invaluable assistance as a business consultant.
