Boval Engineering has recently completed the successful manufacture of a purpose built Steel Modular Control Desk. The Control Desk will be installed in a satellite navigation tower in Darwin (Northern Territory, Australia) owned by Yokogawa Australia.
The Modular Control Desk was designed and manufactured as a modular system. This provided the customer with the flexibility to customise the desk to suit their specific needs, the ability to add to or change the arrangement in the future, as well as being advantageous for transport and installation. The unit was assembled on site at Boval Engineering for the customer to view before transporting to the navigation station in Darwin.
The Control desk has a wide variety of functional features that were required by the customer. The desk includes lockable panels and doors, both on the front and the rear of the desk. The desk also has a purposeful cable management tray that extends the whole length of the Control Desk.
Modular Control Desk features include:
- • Lockable panels at the rear
- • Lockable doors and drawers
- • Adjustable shelving
- • Cable management tray
- • Sliding / removable keyboard tray
- • Modular system
